Lyttleton to Diamond Harbour.

Cheap ferry ride took us across to Diamond Harbour passing a number of mooring ships and the docks of Lyttleton. Its a pleasaont 10 minute crossing and we had Tim and Elliot with us. A really nice place to sit and have lunch and coffee. Then back to other side and a visit to Cass Bay Beach and the park for Elliot.

New Brighton

Yes there is even a New Brighton in Christchurch and we visited it on several occasions. There are fabulous outside heated swimming pools on the front but unfortunately they were closed for rennovation throughout our stay. However on warm days we enjoyed walking along the pier and doing our exercises on the beach.On one occasion we had a lovely day here with Elliot where he loved the interaction games in the library.

Redcliffs and Sumner.
