Tuesday 4th September

We arrived at Zaton Holiday Resort yesterday. Its a massive complex with 1500 pitches! Its got everything...about 6 swimming pools, its own 1500metre sandy beach, shops, restaurants, bars, riding school , water sports, Its not exactly the type of place we would normally stay on but it works for us. Every pitch has its own tap, drainage and electric point and pitches are large with plenty of space. Even though its so big the internet is free and is excellent , we were able to stream BBC TV uninterrupted. The only drawback is the fact that it is occupied mainly by young German families mainly from the Bavarian region where the kids don't go back to school until 11th September. That again wouldn't be a problem except that many of the kids are riding around on little scooters that Jonesy hates and barks at. So we'll stay here about 3 nights and recover from our journey.
