In contrast to last Sunday and the Lycra clad Germans tearing down the cycle path, Sunday evening on the prom at Iseo was marked by sheer elegance and beauty. Crowds of beautiful Italians just strolling at a slow pace enjoying the late evening sun. No matter how much money us English spend on clothes we never look as good as they do. We enjoyed a pint at our now 'local' , The Green Pepper and then found a lovely restaurant to further watch the fashion parade.
Monday saw another dramatic contrast, the Sunday crowds had departed and the prom looked almost deserted yet another magical moment just sitting outside The Green Pepper watching the sun go down.
