Saturday 14th October. Another day of unseasonal weather, a really warm wind dominates and perfect for a good walk. Set off from the excellent site, Broardings Farm and walked to Sandsend. From there we caught the bus to a place I`ve always wanted to visit since I saw pictures of it in James Heriots Yorkshire in the early 80`s...Staithes. At last I had discovered my quaint little Yorkshire fishing village. Staithes didn't disappoint and after we walked through the village we stopped at the harbour pub for a pint of black sheep and sat admiring the views. Back on the bus to Whitby, found a nice restaurant that let Jonesy in.
