Trip to Costa Brava 2026

This trip was put in doubt and delayed due to Jonesys operation to remove his spleen. As we travelled down on the M6 we received the excellent news that the tumour was benign with no obvious cancer. The news that EU pet passports were no longer accepted also threatened the trip but we arranged to collect an AHC from a vet in Ashford on the way down. It now seems the best plan for these trips is to leave Friday morning around 9.30 arrive at Tim's for when kids get out of School, stay the night, ferry 12.30. Get to the Arras aire for 4.30 after topping up with fuel at the Arras Leclerc. And that's what we did we love Arras, the aire is a 5 minute walk from the plaza full of sun drenched bars. A toilet and shower is on the Aire that cleans itself after use. Lovely beers sat in the plaza where a barman unfortunately spilt a beer all over me
