left Vichy using a D road to get south of Clermond Ferrand, thereby avoiding toll. From Clermond, all the way to Montpellier the motorway is free apart from about a 10 euro charge for the Millau viaduct Always wanted to give St Flour a viewing but got to admit i was a little disappointed, but this impression wasn't helped by the rain. i think stopping at one of the cheap Acsi sites at Millau might be the better option. This also avoids paying the viaduct charge.
