Even though we've been away for a while now I am still not convinced that this is the country called Australia as I have not seen any kangaroo's. Koala's or men with corks hanging from their hats. Yesterday we passed New Brighton and today I was taken to Southport??
More seriously we have visited some nice places inland such as Hins Dam which was pretty close to a place where Mel Gibson used to live. This Sunday we fly to Cairns where we are expecting temps in the mid 30's.
