The excellent mid September weather continued but it was
time to head home....slowly. We
therefore headed to Eden Valley Holiday Park just outside Lostwithiel. Again a good site despite being a little
remote. The day we spent here we headed
off along The Saints pathway. After
about 4 miles along viewless narrow lanes we decided to take a detour into
Lantyan woods. This took us along a picturesque valley walk aside the River
Fowey. This was a peaceful walk until we
came across a disturbed woman who came running out of the trees threatening to
slap me and accusing me of enjoying ‘a mans world’. A sad encounter but one that was like water
off a ducks back after my 35 years as a mental health practitioner.
