We arrived in Golden Bay on 13th, staying at the Inlet Backpackers near Collingwood. What a contrast to Old Macs. Here we have a timber cottage, overlooking a large lawn with flower beds. Inside we have a double and single bed with a full kitchen. Before we arrived here we stopped at Te Waikeropupu springs, where the purity and clarity of the water is beaten only by Easter Island and the nearby blhe lake in Nelson.
This is a real chill out place with great walks and lovely beaches.
