Saturday 15th November

Today is our last full day here although we plan to visit Cairns city tomorrow morning before our flight. We`ve had a fantastic week here and hope to return. Maz and Allan organised a bit of a party for us and the other guests Dennis and Carol, a much appreciated gesture that we really enjoyed. As you will see from the photos we really enjoyed the day on the great barrier reef. The food on the trip was exceptional and the entire staff looked after us. We had some of those loud Americans who continually give you a running commentary on their lives..."look at me honey I‘ve got flippers on my feet". This was OK but became more serious when he got to the front of the self service food que..."whats this, whats that, how do you cook this, look at me honey I‘m eating all 200 of the king prawns". The que built up so we fed him to the sharks. Its tempting to cram more trips in before we leave but we‘ll probably leave these for another future visit. Our accommodation has been perfect and many thanKS again to our wonderful hosts Maz and Allen.
